A Different Kind of School.

“Boont Tribe Community School creates enthusiastic, dedicated, independent learners.”

Established in 2019 and located in beautiful Anderson Valley, Boont Tribe is nestled between the redwoods and the Pacific Ocean.

Arrangement of various natural objects spelling out 'Boont Tribe' on a white background, with leaves, twigs, flowers, and photographs forming a heart shape.

Why Us

We build things, make messes, have silly conversations, and LEARN.  We believe students grow when exposed to a meaningful and stimulating environment.  All of our classes are multi-aged and focus on mentorship.  Children make amazing teachers, and they learn a great deal from the kids they look up to.

A playground with a large tree in the center surrounded by swings, a climbing dome, and a small shelter, all enclosed by a wooden fence, with sunlight filtering through the leaves and casting shadows on the ground.

“This school has helped me for five years. I have made friends with kids and found joy. This school has taught me almost every math equation and word I know. I love this school.”
